Round 1 was a huge success for our team! This was our first time ever driving at Orlando Speed World. We ended up figuring out the track really fast and started putting down runs in the style and manner that the judges were looking for. We were absolutely  confident and ready for qualifying.  Our first pass we laid down a solid 77 that put us in 4th place! As the field of drivers got faster and started pushing harder, we ended up getting pushed down to 23rd, out side of the top 16. So it was all or nothing at this point! We knew we had to lay down an incredible run, so on our 2nd run we gave it everything we had and scored an 86 that put us back in 4th! However, at the end of qualifying we find out that or score of 86 was bumped down and ended up qualifying 10th over all. Still, we were in the main event and qualified in the top 16 out of nearly 40+ drivers!!!! The car felt amazing the entire weekend which gave us the confidence to push to the top!

In Top 16, our first battle was against a good friend Josh Robinson in his Holden Ute from Australia.  We took the win in that battle moving us that much closer to the podium!!!  Next, we had Troy Manners for our great 8 battle and we came out on top again! After that, we battled against Donati in the Top 4.  We had an awesome battle and won again placing us in the finals with our good friend Trent Beechum.  We ran 2 solid runs and after a long decision, we ended up putting klutch wheels on the podium in 2nd at our Formula Drift Pro 2 debut!!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better showing or a better team! Everything flowed and the chemistry on the team was fantastic.  Thank you for being a major part of this success and it’s an honor to have you with us!!!!!    Here are some great photos form this weekend……
